Josh's motivation consist of underground guys that keep pushing him, as well as the sport of bodyboarding. Guys like: Herman Ano, Leslie Obara, Derek Miyashiro, Mark Balasbas, Warren Anderson, Leeroy Kaiwi, and thats to name a few. The state of bodyboarding is so underground its hard to believe, but thats what draws him to the sport. Josh knows bodyboarding lacks the backing that surfing has, but he is not in it for the money. He is there for himself. Nothing makes him happier than being in the water. Especially when he is cruising with the boys.
